Leadership

During this launch phase, Trinity Fellowship is led by a Board of Trustees that functions as the overseers of the church in matters of missional focus, congregational health, and organizational guidance. The board serves together for the overall care, direction, and well being of the church. Our lead pastor serves as a member of the board, but does not hold a formal office.

Reid Kapple

Lead Pastor

  • My name is Reid. I follow Jesus and long for others to do the same. I have served as a pastor in the KC area since 2008 in various roles and capacities. It is my aim in life to help others delight in the beauty and truth of who Jesus is and the life he invites us into. My wife Megan and I have been married since 2005 and we are blessed to have four kids (Lula, Jane, Pearl, and Edmund). I received my B.S. in Rhetoric from KSU and my Masters of Divinity from SBTS. I enjoy obstacle course races, consuming way too many tacos, repeating exaggerated stories, and thinking that I am a better guitar player than I actually am. I also enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. Let me know if you ever want to meet up and chat.

Nydiaris Hernández-Santos

Pastor of Discipleship

  • I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, the most beautiful place on earth! The people of my hometown church empowered me to lead and teach from an early age, and I have been serving the church in that capacity most of my life both as a volunteer and clergy. I love to proclaim God's beauty through preaching and helping people mature as followers of Jesus. Before I was a pastor, I trained to be a scientist. That means I went to school for an embarrassingly long time and I am thus a professional student. I hold a Ph.D in Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.Div from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. When I am not preparing to teach and shepherding God's people alongside Reid and Megan, you will find me walking the trails around the Kansas City area, sitting in a cozy coffee shop with a book in my hand, and spending time with dear friends. I love good food, salsa (the music not the condiment) and Latin Jazz. Come say hola if you find me on the trail or in the coffee shop. I'd love to meet you!

Megan Kapple

Director of Administration

  • I have lived in the KC area most of my life. After receiving my degree in Art Education from K-State, I have worked as an elementary art teacher and virtual assistant among many other things. In addition to being a wife to Reid and mom to my 4 amazing kids, I enjoy thrifting, good coffee, painting and dreaming up our next house project. Currently my role at Trinity is to provide administrative support through communications, volunteer coordination, and 78 other random things needed in church planting.
