Mayor John Bacon has joined forces with the Olathe School District to launch the Mayor’s Community Food Drive. These items will be given to food insecure families this summer to address the food shortage in our community. There will be two collection and drop off dates in Olathe. You can also bring your items to church as we will be collecting items up until April 27th.

Join us for our Easter Sunday service on April 20th at 10 AM at SFT as we celebrate the Christ’s resurrection together. This is an all ages service, so there will be no childcare. We can’t wait to celebrate Easter Sunday together as a church family.

Our Good Friday service will take place at on April 18 at 7:00 PM at Santa Fe Trail Middle School. This will be a contemplative service in preparation for Easter Sunday. (Childcare will not be provided.)

Join members of Trinity Fellowship and other churches in our city for the Good Faith Network Solutions Meeting. This will be a one hour meet at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 6th at Grace United Methodist Church. The GFN leadership team will share their proposed solutions for matters of homelessness, affordable housing, mental health, and elder care to our elected officials at the Nehemiah Assembly on May 6th. This is a simple and tangible way for us to embody our value of biblical justice.

 All women are invited to a game night on Saturday, April 5th 6-9pm at Anne Strempke’s home (26442 W 110th Ter Olathe, KS 66061). Please bring either an appetizer or dessert to share. Our middle school and high school students will be partnering with students from Mission Southside to prep and deliver meals to families in the community during spring break. This will be a great opportunity to do ministry with others and connect with our community. We will meet at Mission Southside on March 19 at 12:30 and will be done around 2:30. Contact Jen Shubin if your student plans to attend.

Trinity Fellowship is a member of Good Faith Network, a Johnson County interfaith group composed of 25+ congregations across 3 faith traditions with a mission of pursuing justice in the local community. This year, the Good Faith Network is focusing its efforts on mental health, housing and homelessness, and elder care. On May 6th over 1600 justice-seeking people of faith will gather to seek commitments from our local officials on real change in Johnson County.

On Sunday, February 16, members of the board will be available after church for anyone who has questions or would like to share any thoughts regarding Trinity Fellowship. We want to try to create more opportunities for our church to communicate with leadership. We look forward to sharing in this time with those who are interested.

All women of Trinity Fellowship are welcome to join together at Sweet Tee’s (off Santa Fe and Mur-Len). This event has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 15th from 1-3pm. This is a laid back, come and go event - come by yourself or invite a friend to join you. We hope to see you there!
